Oklahoma Election Guide for August 13, 2019

Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, in 17 Oklahoma counties. Be sure to make your plan to vote.

Here are the local elections by county:

Choctaw County

  • Soper, one town proposition.

Coal County

  • Pontotoc Technology Center, one proposition.

Ellis County

  • Fargo-Gage Public Schools, one proposition. The $6.3 million proposition will fund a new auditorium, cafeteria, kitchen and additional equipment.

Hughes County

  • Pontotoc Technology Center, one proposition.

Johnston County

  • One county proposition.

Lincoln County

  • Agra Public Schools, two propositions. Proposition 1 will raise $950,000 for safe rooms, books, technology, a pavilion for the elementary school basketball court, parking lots, lighting, a vo-ag pickup, a trailer, copiers, districtwide repairs, and other items. Proposition 2 will raise $250,000 for transportation.

Mayes County

  • Chouteau, one town proposition. 
  • Locust Grove, two propositions. 
  • Salina, one town proposition.

Murray County

  • Pontotoc Technology Center, one proposition.

Osage County

  • Bartlesville Public Schools, two propositions. Proposition 1 will raise $16.1 million for technology, a new vo-ag/STEM classroom and equipment, new climate controls systems, a new press box, safety upgrades, and districtwide repairs. Proposition 2 will raise $1.9 million for transportation. 
  • Hominy, one city proposition.

Pawnee County

  • Hallett, one town proposition. 
  • Terlton, one town proposition.

Pontotoc County

  • Pontotoc Technology Center, one proposition.

Rogers County

  • Inola, one town proposition.

Seminole County

  • Pontotoc Technology Center, one proposition.

Texas County

  • Tyrone Public Schools, one proposition.

Washington County

  • Bartlesville Public Schools, two propositions. Proposition 1 will raise $16.1 million for technology, a new vo-ag/STEM classroom and equipment, new climate controls systems, a new press box, safety upgrades, and districtwide repairs. Proposition 2 will raise $1.9 million for transportation.
