SOEA Awards Book

The Student Oklahoma Education Association encourages its members to apply and/or nominate those individuals and/or affiliates that have excelled during the current academic year. All nominations and supporting documents must be postmarked or received in the SOEA office on or before February 15. 

The one exception to this deadline is the Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award, which is due by Friday March 2, 2012.

Award categories include,

  • Outstanding Local Student Leader
  • Outstanding Local Underclassman Award
  • Outstanding Local CLASS Award
  • Outstanding Local Newsletter Award
  • Outstanding Local Website Award

These awards are judges by the Student UniServ Organizing Specialist and other OEA staff. (Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award is judged by the SOEA State Officers.)

Winning entries will be announced at the SOEA Spring Convention the first Saturday in March.

The SOEA Awards Book contains all award criteria and nomination forms which can be filled out online. The PDF forms can be saved to your computer, printed for mailing or submitted via email to Mike McIlwee. Nominations submitted electronically must be complete, including all supporting documentation (such as letters of recommendation).
