Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 14, in seven Oklahoma counties. Four school districts have bonds on the ballot. Here are the local elections by county:
Carter County
- One county proposition.
Creek County
- Lone Star Public School, one proposition. The $4.6 million bond would fund a new library that doubles as a storm shelter, a cafeteria addition that also doubles as a storm shelter, a new bus barn, and renovations to the elementary school, including updates to the fire sprinkler and alarm systems.
- Pretty Water Public School, two propositions. Proposition 1 will raise $150,000 for technology and a new marquee sign. Proposition 2 will raise $200,000 for buses.
- Sapulpa, six city propositions.
Grady County
- Rush Springs Public Schools, one proposition. The $4 million bond would fund a new track, upgrades to the auditorium, and security features, such as secure entrances, cameras, and fencing.
Hughes County
- One county proposition.
Oklahoma County
- Millwood Public Schools, one proposition. The bond will fund a practice gym that doubles as a storm shelter.
Osage County
- Green Country Fire District, two propositions.
Tulsa County
- Sapulpa, six city propositions.
