Jeremy Simco has joined the OEA staff as the new Network Administrator.
He holds a Bachelors in Management of Information Systems from Oklahoma State University. (Go Pokes!) He also has A+ and Network+ certifications from CompTIA.
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys building PCs, playing Magic the Gathering/other board games, shooting target clays, and traveling.
He and his wife Rachel have a full household with four daughters aged 23 to 9 and 3 dogs. Together they enjoy going to the beach, playing flashlight tag during winter, vacationing, and “making mom happy.”
When asked why he choose to work at OEA, he said “I think education is a huge part of building a better and more accepting society. Teachers across the state need to be support to make that happen. Even though I don’t directly help teachers, I hope to make things easier for the staff here at OEA!”
Jeremy officially started back in August and has naturally blended in with the staff. He explained “I like the OEA because the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. OEA has a great history of helping teachers in the state and working here feels like you carry that pride wherever you go.”
We are lucky to have him on board! Join us in welcoming Jeremy to our staff.
