2021 Poster Contest Winners Named
Bridgett Krup’s depiction of Katniss Everdeen from “Catching Fire: The Hunger Games Book 2,” earned Best in Show honors in OEA’s 2021 Read Across America Poster Contest. Krup is a senior at Valliant High School.
Students in grades three through 12 entered drawings depicting their favorite books, featuring a wide range of literature. Children in grades kindergarten through second grade participated in a coloring contest depicting 2021’s theme, Zoom into a Good Book.
Krup will receive a $100 gift certificate, honoring her winning drawing. Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit will be awarded in four age groups: K-second grade, third-fifth grade, sixth-eighth grade and high school.
