AutoPay is a convenient method to pay OEA dues, including local dues, through automatic deductions from a checking or savings account, credit card, or personal/bank check.
Current Members use the eDues Self Enrollment site to pay their dues through an AutoPay payment option.
New Members enroll using the JoinNow portal and select an AutoPay payment option to pay their dues.
Why AutoPay?
If you are currently payroll deducting your dues, several people in your district’s administration building know your membership status and how you are paying your dues. That should be your personal business and with AutoPay your membership stays between you and your association.
In addition, anti-public education politicians want to curtail your ability to pay membership dues through payroll deduction and every year, a bill is introduced that wants to limit or deny you this option. By switching now to AutoPay, you take this tactic away from legislators. OEA’s transition to AutoPay is a powerful statement to legislators. If we make a stand, legislators must then focus on the real issues facing public education.
